This package includes everything that you need to learn to meet the requirements and become a successful driver in North Carolina: 

• 30-Hour Driver Ed Course
• 6-Hour of Behind-the-Wheel Driving Lessons

Classes are held at our main location, Turn by Turn Driving Academy and also Forsyth Country Day School, but you do not need to attend FCDS to take this course.  All students are welcome.

This package includes 30 hours of Self-paced Drivers Ed Course that meets the North Carolina state requirements plus 6 hours of Behind-the-Wheel. The 6 hours of Behind-the-Wheel is only offered in Winston Salem NC.

This package includes 30 hours of Self-paced Drivers Ed Course. In which you will have 90 days to complete the course. This course will take you through everything you need to know about driving.

This package includes 6 hours of Behind-the-Wheel that meets the North Carolina state requirements. You also can call and see what we have available. 

If you are preparing for your road test, this package is recommended. Take our road test review course to ensure that you can pass your test the first time.

North Carolina Road Test Eligibility for Teens

Road Tests must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.  We schedule an appointment over the phone, on the website, or at the office. To take the road test through a driving school in North Carolina, a teen must meet the state's Level 1 permit requirements:

• Hold a Level 1 Learner Permit for at least 9 months

• Complete 60 hours of supervised driving, documented on the official driving log

• Have no moving violations, seat-belt violations, or cell-phone citations within the last 6 months

• Be 16-17 years old and have completed an approved Driver Education course

Once these requirements are met, the teen can schedule a road test with our school to apply for their Level 2 Provisional License.  All Road Tests are performed at Turn by Turn Driving Academy. 

This package includes 30 hours of classroom instruction via zoom that meets the North Carolina state requirements. 3 days before class the zoom link will be sent to your email. Please check your spam folder if you do not see it.
