This package includes 30 hours of Self-paced Drivers Ed Course. In which you will have 90 days to complete the course. This course will take you through everything you need to know about driving. 

Please note:  Your deposit is due at registration.  Any account that is unpaid, may be deleted.  We must make room for all students who have met their payment obligation. 

If you are preparing for your road test, this package is recommended. Take our road test review course to ensure that you can pass your test the first time.

North Carolina Road Test Eligibility for Teens

Road Tests must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.  We schedule an appointment over the phone, on the website, or at the office. To take the road test through a driving school in North Carolina, a teen must meet the state's Level 1 permit requirements:

• Hold a Level 1 Learner Permit for at least 9 months

• Complete 60 hours of supervised driving, documented on the official driving log

• Have no moving violations, seat-belt violations, or cell-phone citations within the last 6 months

• Be 16-17 years old and have completed an approved Driver Education course

Once these requirements are met, the teen can schedule a road test with our school to apply for their Level 2 Provisional License.  All Road Tests are performed at Turn by Turn Driving Academy.
